Enviromental Policy
PT Tata Bara Utama (“TBU”) is a company operating in the mining services sector which is committed to protecting the environment in every company operational activity so that it can ensure sustainable business growth and increase the trust of all stakeholders.
As a form of implementing this commitment, TBU Management will always:
- Strive for environmental protection and prevention of environmental pollution which is an integral part of TBU’s business plan and ensures that environmental management will be carried out better and more sustainably.
- Ensure that all aspects of danger, risk and impact on the environment are managed effectively to prevent environmental pollution and a decrease in the environmental carrying capacity.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements related to environmental aspects.
- Implement an environmental management system to maintain accountability for environmental management performance with an approach to conformity to the ISO 14001 standard as a form of the company’s commitment to protecting the environment.
- Striving for continuous improvement in environmental developments in all TBU activities and work locations throughout Indonesia.
This policy is documented, implemented, maintained and communicated to all employees at every work unit level so that it can be understood, implemented and complied with.
Following the company’s development, this environmental policy will always be reviewed taking into account organizational developments, the company’s business, changes in technology and applicable laws and regulations.
