Safety Policy
PT Tata Bara Utama (“TBU”) is a company operating in the mining services sector, which has a vision to become a reliable and trusted mining services provider, TBU is committed to implementing the Mining Safety Management System in a sustainable manner by always:
- Comply with legal regulations and other requirements related to the implementation and management of mining safety.
- Support the provision and management of resources in a professional and quality manner.
- Determine, monitor and periodically review mining safety goals, targets and work programs for the short term, medium term and long term.
- Carry out continuous improvements in an effort to create healthy, safe, efficient and productive operational activities by paying attention to every aspect of occupational safety and health, mining operations safety and the environment in order to create a work environment with a culture of mining safety.
- Make real efforts to control risks and prevent accidents, work-related illnesses, incidents resulting from worker illnesses and other dangerous events that can cause damage to assets and cessation of production activities.
- Carry out education and training for employees and sub-contractors in accordance with their duties and responsibilities to increase capabilities and awareness of mining safety.
- Conduct internal audits of the TBU organization and periodically review the implementation of the Mining Safety Management System that has been prepared, by making continuous improvements.
- Ensure that this mining safety policy is understood and implemented by all employees, suppliers and other companies involved in all stages of the company’s business activities.
Following company developments, this mining safety policy will always be reviewed taking into account organizational developments, company business, changes in technology and applicable laws and regulations.
